VINUVA E VIE DEL BUTTAFUOCO: A WEEKEND OF FLAVOURS AND TRADITIONS IN STRADELLA

From 20 to 22 September 2024, Stradella will be transformed into an unmissable destination for lovers of good wine and traditional cuisine, thanks to VinUva e le Vie del Buttafuoco. This eagerly awaited event, which celebrates the Oltrepò Pavese wine and food culture, will offer a rich programme of tastings and immersive activities in the heart of the city.

For three days, visitors will be able to lose themselves in the streets of the centre of Stradella, taking part in a food and wine tour that will lead them through no less than 13 typical bars and restaurants. Here, local producers, together with expert sommeliers, will offer a selection of the area‘s best wines, with a special focus on the famous Buttafuoco, an intense and robust red wine, a symbol of the territory.

The carnet, available at a cost of 25 euros, will give access to 3 tastings of Buttafuoco accompanied by delicious paired tastings. Among the specialities on offer, participants will be able to enjoy iconic dishes such as risotto with salami pasta. Each pairing will be designed to enhance the organoleptic characteristics of the wines, creating a unique experience for the palate.

For those who wish to deepen their knowledge of wine, exclusive Masterclasses will be available on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., and on Sunday at 11 a.m., experts will guide participants through three distinct courses: In Rosso, In Rosa and In Bianco. Each of these sessions will be a journey to discover the nuances and techniques of wine-making, offering participants the opportunity to become true connoisseurs of local wine.

In addition to the itinerant tastings, Promoltrepò will offer visitors the opportunity to lunch or dine on a menu specially designed for the occasion, which will highlight the best local specialities.

VinUva e le Vie del Buttafuoco represents an unmissable opportunity to immerse oneself in the culture and flavours of the Oltrepò Pavese, combining the beauty of Stradella with the discovery of local food and wine excellence. An event that promises to delight palates and make for a weekend of taste, conviviality and tradition.
