On Saturday 24 August 2024, this picturesque village will be the scene of an extraordinary event: ‘Dinner Under the Stars’. An unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in the magic of a summer evening of good food, live music and conviviality.
During the ‘Dinner Under the Stars’ event, this corner of history will be transformed into an open-air stage, offering visitors an experience that combines the best of local tradition with the suggestion of a starry summer night sky.
The event will start at 7 p.m., when participants will be welcomed with an aperitif on the panoramic terrace overlooking the main square. Here, between a glass of wine and a snack, it will be possible to enjoy a breathtaking view of the sunset, with the colours of the sky reflecting on the surrounding hills, creating an almost fairytale-like atmosphere.
At 8.30 p.m., the dinner proper will begin, a banquet that promises to delight the palates of those present with the authentic flavours of traditional Oltrepò Pavese cuisine. The set menu, at a cost of €25 per person, is a tribute to local gastronomic excellence:
- Mixed hors d‘oeuvres of locally produced cured meats and cheeses: A selection of cured meats and artisan cheeses, served with compotes and honeys, to enhance the taste of local raw materials.
- Meat ravioli with braised meat sauce or butter and sage: A first course that best represents the culinary tradition of the area, with fresh handmade pasta and a rich and tasty filling.
- Vitello tonnato and side dish: A classic second course, prepared with high-quality veal, accompanied by a seasonal side dish.
- Home-made desserts: To end the dinner on a sweet note, traditional desserts prepared with genuine ingredients will be served.
- Water and coffee complete the menu, ensuring a pleasant and complete dinner.
Making the evening even more special will be the live music of the singing trio ‘Du Spaghi in Trio’. Their repertoire, ranging from the great classics of Italian music to more modern melodies, will gently accompany the dinner, creating the perfect background for a unique dining experience. Their performance promises to engage and excite those present, making the evening truly memorable.
And for those who love dancing, the party doesn‘t end with dinner! Starting at 23.00, the square will be transformed into a dance floor under the stars, thanks to the 90s DJ set by DJ Doc. A musical selection that will revive the best hits of those years, guaranteeing fun and wild dancing until late at night.
