On Friday 16 August, at 9.15 p.m., the picturesque setting of the Medieval Village of Bagnaria, precisely in Piazza S. Bartolomeo, will be transformed into an exceptional stage for an evening dedicated to great Italian music. The event, entitled ‘Viaggio nella Canzone Italiana d‘Autore‘ (‘Journey into Italian Songwriting‘), promises to be a unique and enthralling experience, capable of transporting the audience through the melodies and emotions that have marked the history of Italian songs.

The star of the evening will be Nicoletta Fabbri, one of the most refined voices on the Italian music scene. Fabbri, with a career full of prestigious collaborations, worked for five years alongside Nicola Piovani, the famous composer and Oscar winner for the soundtrack of the film ‘La vita è bella‘. Together with Piovani, she has performed at the most important Italian and international film festivals and theatres, leaving an indelible mark with her interpretations and the recording of the DVD ‘Concerto Fotogramma‘.

The event will be enriched by the participation of two excellent musicians: Gabriele Zanchini on keyboard and Luigi Faggi Gigioni on trumpet. These two artists will accompany Nicoletta Fabbri‘s voice, creating a magical atmosphere in which every note will resonate within the ancient walls of the village, evoking images, memories and emotions linked to the tradition of Italian songwriting.

Nicoletta Fabbri, with her versatile voice and interpretative skills, has performed with various ensembles and important musicians on the Italian scene. She has published several record works, including her latest CD ‘Sous le ciel de Paris‘, dedicated to French songwriting. This album was chosen as the soundtrack for the documentary ‘Spadò, il danzatore nudo‘, a finalist at the Bellaria Film Festival 2020.

The event represents an unmissable opportunity for lovers of singer-songwriter music, a journey that spans decades of musical culture, celebrating the authors and performers who have made Italian song famous throughout the world. With an entrance fee of only 6 euros (free for children under 14), this evening is accessible to all, uniting the community in a moment of sharing and celebrating our rich musical tradition.

Don‘t miss out on the opportunity to attend this extraordinary musical evening, where the beauty of the venue will combine with the evocative power of singer-songwriter music, giving the audience an unforgettable experience under the starry Bagnaria sky.
