On 25 and 26 May 2024, Oltrepò Pavese is preparing to welcome wine tourists, wine enthusiasts and the curious for a long-awaited event: Cantine Aperte (Open Cellars). This weekend dedicated to the discovery of wine and its places of production is organised by the Movimento Turismo del Vino and represents a unique opportunity to explore the excellent wines of one of the most fascinating regions of Lombardy.
A Territory to Discover
Oltrepò Pavese, located in the province of Pavia, is known for its hilly landscapes, historic villages and, of course, its vineyards. This area, which stretches between the Po and the Apennines, is particularly renowned for the production of high-quality wines, thanks to a unique terroir and a winemaking tradition rooted in antiquity.
