Every third Sunday of the month, except in July and August, the streets of the historic centre are transformed into a veritable open-air museum. Here, history buffs and art lovers can wander among stalls full of vintage objects, from fine design to gold and silver treasures, from antique books to fine furniture. There is no shortage of ceramics, porcelain, and tapestries that tell distant stories, giving visitors the thrill of a journey through time. The exhibition, which runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., offers a wide range of treasures to be discovered and treasured.
A few kilometres from Voghera, in the charming village of Codevilla, another unmissable experience comes to life: the Used and Vintage Market. Here, every Saturday and Sunday of the month, with the exception of the summer months, lovers of retro and collectibles can find paradise. Within the walls of a cosy and historically rich environment, one can find authentic unique pieces, from vintage furniture to numismatics, from comics to vinyls, from vintage toys to electronics. The market, open from 9 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., offers buyers the chance to take home authentic fragments of the past, full of charm and history.
But the Oltrepò Pavese area never ceases to amaze, and Varzi is home to another unmissable event: the Used and Antiques Market. Here, every Sunday from May to the end of September, treasure-hunting enthusiasts can find a vast selection of precious objects and curiosities from the past. From 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m., among the streets of the old town, there is a vibrant and fascinating atmosphere, where every corner hides a potential discovery. Among the objects on display, one can find ancient marvels, testimonies of a bygone era, which continue to enchant and inspire.
In every corner of the Oltrepò Pavese area, traditional markets turn out to be real gems to be discovered, hidden treasures that tell millenary stories and preserve the memory of a territory rich in history and tradition.
