This time, our itinerary will take us from Rocca De‘ Giorgi to the Costa del Vento and back, on a route that passes through breathtaking landscapes and places rich in history and tradition.
Starting from Villa Fornace in Rocca de‘ Giorgi, the ancient home of the Counts Giorgi di Vistarino, we embark on a journey that will take us to explore the beauty and richness of the surrounding area. Leaving the sumptuous 18th-century villa behind, we head towards Vallorsa, crossing the suggestive Scuropasso stream and immersing ourselves in an itinerary rich in emotions and discoveries.
During our walk, we try to grasp the profound bond between viticulture and the land, a bond that has characterised the history of these lands and that still manifests itself today in the care and dedication with which local families preserve the environment. Through dirt roads and little-trodden paths, we head towards the ridge of Costa del Vento, enjoying breathtaking views of the valleys of the Scuropasso and Ghiaia torrents.
Continuing along Via Belvedere, we immerse ourselves in the beauty of the oak forests and farmsteads that dot the landscape. Through sheep tracks and butterfly paths, we reach Bosco della Chiesa, enveloped in the silence and tranquillity of the countryside.
Passing ancient villages and farms, we approach the end of our journey, leaving behind an unforgettable and emotionally rich experience. We conclude our journey at the Conte Vistarino wine cellar/wine cellar and Villa Fornace, where we can sample the authentic flavours of local tradition.
