Among the cobbled lanes of the medieval village of Bagnaria, the magic of Christmas comes to life. The Christmas markets to be held on 8 December will transform this picturesque setting into a place of emotions and traditions
Bagnaria, set in the enchanting landscape of the Oltrepò Pavese, is enthusiastically preparing to welcome the 8th edition of its Christmas Markets in the medieval village. An eagerly awaited event, much loved by the local community and visitors who, like every year, allow themselves to be enveloped by the magic of this tradition.
Over one hundred exhibitors crowd the picturesque streets, bringing with them a treasure trove of unique experiences and products. Amongst food and wine delicacies, handicrafts and Christmas souvenirs, there is a unique and enthralling atmosphere, a true spectacle for the eyes and palate.
The village streets come alive with the traditional notes of pipers and pipers wafting through the air, creating an authentic and enchanted atmosphere. It is like taking a dip into the past, among the ancient stones and narrow alleys, immersed in the festive atmosphere.
The refreshment area is a riot of local flavours, a journey through the delights of traditional cuisine. From charcuterie boards to fragrant pancakes, from soul-warming mulled wine to mouth-watering polenta with sausage or cheese, every morsel tells the story of this land.
And while the melodies of the fifes resound through the streets, the church of San Bartolomeo is preparing to welcome the San Germano Gospel Choir for a free concert at 4 pm. The voices that will rise in this beautiful setting will transport everyone on an emotional journey through Christmas music.
For the little ones, a world of fun will open up at Palazzo Malaspina thanks to the Boscovillaggio association: creative workshops, games, and a lively ‘Father Christmas Village‘ where the magic of meeting Santa Claus will bring smiles and unforgettable moments.
Bagnaria dresses up for the festivities, giving everyone the joy and warm atmosphere of Christmas.
