On the fog-shrouded streets of Santa Maria della Versa, the golden light of the sun paints poetic harmonies on the rows of vines, guiding us together with ‘camminandoinoltrepo‘ to discover this magical land.
Welcome back in the company of ‘camminandoinoltrepo‘, our companion on adventures to discover the hidden treasures and enchanting landscapes that characterise our territory. Today, we will take you on a fascinating journey to discover S. Maria della Versa, immersed in the morning mist and the golden warmth of its vineyards.
The proposed excursion covers a distance of 9.3 kilometres, a route that runs along paved roads, offering an experience of approximately 2 hours. We will start and return to the Cemetery car park, a starting and finishing point for this wonderful adventure.
The route has several interesting features: we will start with a climb towards the first hamlet on our route, Soriasco. From there, we will continue towards Casino Soriasco, then taking the diversions to the left in the direction of Torrazza, Acquetta and Torrone, passing through these charming localities along the scenic Strada della Costa. Once we reach Provincial Road SP 189, we continue towards Rovescala, keeping to the left at the next crossroads to head towards Donelasco, passing through the hamlet of Mosca.
We will pass through the picturesque village and return to the provincial road. From there, we descend along Via Buca towards S. Maria della Versa. At the junction with Via Pianella, we turn left, climbing up towards Casotti and turning right at the Case Nuove junction. From here, we descend and, at the next fork, we head left towards Soriasco, following the route back to the starting point.
