Thanks to the detailed indications of "Camminandoinoltrepò", we will be guided on a fascinating adventure through the paths of Cigognola. The route begins in the picturesque Piazza Castello, the beating heart of the village. Following the CAI signs with the number 31B and "Ways", we will venture beyond the castle and the church, overlooking the pretty hamlet of Regonde. This route will last approximately 4 hours and 40 minutes, covering approximately 16 kilometres.

The route takes us along dirt roads, surrounded by breathtaking views of Broni and the surrounding plain. A descent through the houses of Casa Carvino will lead us to the picturesque Lake Cigognola. Continuing along the route and turning at the second hairpin bend towards Vicomune, we will reach the characteristic village, passing through the charming villages of Cassino Po, Fondoni and Casa Ramati.

Crossing the Fattoria Fratelli Massara we will keep to the right, heading towards Redavalle, admiring the votive pillar of S.Martino in Strada along the way. Once in the town centre, Via Capitani will lead us through Via Roma, and shortly after the church, we will take the half-hidden Stralazzo road to the left. In a panoramic ascent, we will reach Monte Castello, the picturesque locality of Quadrivio and the characteristic hamlet of Castagnara.

The road through Loc.5Strade and Loc. Canova will take us to the junction for F.te Talanca, briefly leaving the paved section. Following the signs, we will be enchanted by the valley that is home to the natural park of the Scorzoletta sanctuary and the sulphurous spring. Returning to the asphalt road, we turn left at the first hairpin bend and take a path with a panoramic view of the Scuropasso Valley and the surrounding hills.

With a wide loop around the hillside, we will reach the ancient Talanca well, the beating heart of the Cigognola community for centuries. Passing through Cascina Fondine and Ca‘ Nova, we will finally reach our destination, completing an adventure that embraces the history, nature and beauty of the Oltrepò Pavese.
