The history of the business began thanks to the deep passion for the art of baking and confectionery, handed down by grandfather Vittorio. The heirs, in love with their craft, tirelessly dedicated themselves to the creation of pastries and baked delicacies that conquered palates thanks to a culinary art perfected through years of dedication.

The current management of the Forneria Biscotteria Azzaretti is entrusted to the granddaughter Caterina, who has given this business a renowned reputation, spreading its prestige far beyond the territorial borders. The company name is now known and appreciated nationwide as a symbol of excellence in the world of traditional bakery and confectionery.

For more than 60 years, the Azzaretti family has been handing down from generation to generation the true recipes that have made the history of this area, and among these, of course, the famous Almond Cake cannot be missing.

The ingredients that have been part of this recipe for more than sixty years are:

  • Type 1 flour from local grains
  • Butter from a local dairy
  • Eggs from free-range and free-range hens
  • Italian sugar
  • Apulian almonds.
