A deep commitment to respecting the land and the environment, passionately supporting practices that protect the environment and support the wellbeing of workers, thus demonstrating an ongoing commitment to a responsible ecological and social vision. This is what characterises Azienda Agricola Quaquarini.
For three generations, the Quaquarini family has been involved in wine production. Today, the Quaquarini Francesco organic farm is run by Francesco and his sons Umberto and Maria Teresa.
Umberto is the oenologist and the creator of each unmistakable wine signed in the company‘s name, while Maria Teresa directs the marketing, coordinates the sales network and the company image.
The company respects the land, the environment and the work. It is a true wine-producing company: from the delicate, manual cultivation of the vines and the grape harvest, the care and meticulous control of production to the bottling and sale of the wine. A family-run business that produces traditional local wines of high quality and authenticity, guaranteeing excellent value for money.
The company, with certified organic production since 2002, adopts the grassing technique, i.e. the presence of a meadow in the vineyard, in the cultivation of its vines. This is a technique capable of creating a better maturation of the grapes, thus improving their quality and combating the erosive effects of the soil.
‘Straight from the vine to the glass‘. This is an ethical and conscious choice: choosing organic means embracing and promoting a sustainable lifestyle, for oneself and for others, with a view to a better future for all. The company uses organic fertilisers of plant and/or animal origin and supports biodiversity. It also does not use chemical synthesis techniques, rejects genetically modified organisms and supports scientific research using technology to guarantee high quality standards for its wines. Finally, it preserves and respects the rural landscape and guarantees the consumer a variety of excellent, high quality wines that are sustainable and good for our health.
Its production also uses sulphite-free wines and in 2017 it was awarded the ‘Bandiera verde agricoltura‘ (green flag for agriculture), granted, after careful controls, only to companies that stand out for their production capacities and their defence of the land and the environment.
