On March 4, 2025, at Villa Castello La Torrazzetta, an important meeting was held to outline the future of tourism in Oltrepò Pavese. The event, organized by the territorial associations Inoltre (hospitality facilities and wine tourism cellars) and Top – Tavole Oltrepò (restaurants), also saw the participation of Colline e Oltre S.p.A, a company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group dedicated to the development of Oltrepò Pavese, and Focus Oltrepò.

One of the key points of the meeting was the decision to incorporate Oltrepò Pavese wineries with a wine tourism vocation into the Inoltre association. This step represents a crucial opportunity for the local wine sector, aiming to strengthen the presence of the wine industry within the region’s tourism development strategies, consolidating Oltrepò Pavese as a leading food and wine destination.

Another decisive choice was to unify the two existing associations into a single entity. Hospitality facilities and wine producers, already part of Inoltre, will merge with the restaurants affiliated with the Top association, creating one large organization. This merger process will enable a more coordinated and comprehensive tourism offering, enhancing the region’s attractiveness and improving its ability to welcome and satisfy visitors.

Another central topic of the meeting was the presentation of the Communication Plan for Focus Oltrepò, the website dedicated to promoting the region. This digital tool will serve as a reference point for showcasing restaurants, hotels, and wineries, offering targeted content to highlight local excellence. The communication strategy of Focus Oltrepò will be developed in synergy with local entities to ensure an authentic and effective narrative of the tourism opportunities in Oltrepò Pavese.

The meeting marked a fundamental step in the development of Oltrepò Pavese, laying the groundwork for shared and structured growth in the region. The common goal is to strengthen synergies among various local stakeholders and build an increasingly integrated and attractive tourism offering, capable of enhancing the resources and excellence of Oltrepò Pavese to the fullest.
