Itinerary Description

Start and Initial Section

Leaving the car in the Inveriaghi hamlet of Borgoratto Mormorolo, walk about 1.5 km down the provincial road to the Town Hall, where a large parking area is available. From there, take Trail 33, which winds through the houses and gently ascends alongside the vineyards.

Climb to Monte Fratello

At a barely visible fork, leave Trail 33 and take a narrower, steeper path to the left, passing through broom bushes until you reach the Monte Fratello ridge. Following the ridge upwards, you will reconnect with Trail 33, which leads to the summit.

Scenic Descent and Montalto Castle

The trail continues downhill, offering a stunning view of Montalto Castle. At the end of the descent, turn left onto a paved road that passes through the village of Boiolo, continuing through the vineyards to Ca’ Bernocchi. Here, rejoin the provincial road toward the main town.

Ascent and Return

Midway through Ca’ Bernocchi, take a right-hand path that ascends steeply on the opposite side of the valley. After a gentler section, reach Ca’ Facchini, from where a downhill road leads back to the provincial road. Before reaching it, turn right towards Zebedo.

Following the provincial road for about one kilometer uphill, you will return to Borgoratto Mormorolo Town Hall, completing the loop and returning to the starting point.
